其它 | 摘要:Feeding rhythms regulate exerciseperformance and fuel utilization in muscle tissues, while the white adiposetissue (WAT) supplies energy-related macromolecules to support exercise metabolm.However.it remainselusive whether and how feeding rhythms regulate adipocyte metabolism. To deconyolute the circadian aspecof this fat-muscle interorgan crosstalk, we used a circadian multi-omics approach, involvingomicsphospho-proteomics, succinylomics and lipidomics. We found that day-restricted feeding (DRF) entrains denovo diurnal rhythms of the mitochondrial and fat metabolism pathways governed by AMPK signaling in mouseWAT. Adipocyte-specific knockdown of Prkaa2 (the gene encoding AMPKalpha2) depletes muscle glycogerand lipids during exercise under DRF, resulting in decreased physical endurance. Collectively, our worksuggests adipocyte AMPKalpha2 signaling as a generator of circadian tones in the WAT that is essential folexercise metabolism. |
