Also it is claimed that organizations cannot generate knowledge without individuals. However, the lack of attention is paid to the motivating and increasing the loyalty of those who generate knowledge - knowledge workers. This article aims at identifying main factors that motivate knowledge workers and increase their loyalty to the organization. The first section of the article deals with understanding who are the knowledge workers, what are the core characteristics of them, and what role they play in the organization. In the second section it is attempted to outline the factors that are important in motivating knowledge workers and increasing their loyalty to the organization. |
