Cobalt selenide with ordered cation vacancies for efficient oxygen reduction and frigostable Al–air batteries

Metal–air batteries are still blocked by sluggish ORR processes, especially under low temperature. Thus Co 0.85 Se@N,Se-CNFs loading metallic Co 0.85 Se with ordered vacancies were prepared into Al–air batteries for wide range applications (−40–50 °C).
