Electrochemistry using plasma

A glow‐discharge plasma , because of the presence of ions and electrons and because of its potentially high conductivity, can be seen as a conductive fluid which could be used in an electrochemical system. Electrochemistry using such a plasma (see Figure) has bee demonstrated and here its basis and applications, for example in thin film deposition, are discussed. magnified image
