Leading responsibly in the Asian-led digital age

In the twenty-first century, Asia has been emerging as a major global political and economic influence. Discussion of responsible leadership is growing but it has not fully recognized the influence of the Asian context on business leadership. In addition, technological advancements from artificial intelligence to robotics have transformed business in Asia, bringing great benefits and also new challenges for responsible leadership. The focus of this chapter is how leaders can lead more responsibly in the Asian-led digital age. The chapter presents a framework of virtuous responsible leadership and examines how it can be applied in Asia and why it is so important in the digital age.
