25144 Challenges in educating and counseling patients with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis: results from a mixed-methods needs assessment in Canada and USA

Background: The recent paradigm shift in psoriasis treatment toward biologic medications requires health care providers (HCPs) to become acquainted with their efficacy and safety to confidently recommend them to patients. The study assessed challenges experienced by HCPs regarding multiple aspects of psoriasis care. Only findings on patient communication and education are presented here.
