Multidisciplinary management of acromegaly and its deformities

The skeletal deformities associated with acromegaly are not reversed by correction of abnormal growth hormone dynamics. We describe a patient with acromegaly in whom facial reconstruction was undertaken after successful removal of a pituitary adenoma. (JAMA1985;253:682-683)
