摘要
Over the years, cutaneous melanoma treatment has already gained more attention owing to the threats to public health and defects of traditional therapies. The occurrence of cutaneous melanoma simultaneously couples with skin wound infection. To address this issue, nanocomposite hydrogels have been ideal materials due to excellent mechanical, biological and physiochemical properties. Nanocomposite hydrogels with simultaneous photothermal antitumor and antibacterial efficacy can meet dual demand of cutaneous melanoma treatment and skin wound healing. Additionally, visceral melanoma and uveal melanoma treatment based on photothermal therapy (PTT) are also discussed. Taken together, this review provides a constructive guidance for researchers to further studies on intelligent nanocomposite hydrogels based on PTT in curing melanoma and repairing wound.
