摘要
Abstract In contrast to C−C bond cleavage of cyclic oxime esters, the corresponding coupling reaction without ring‐opening are less explored. In this context, we report an unprecedented method for the synthesis of 3‐sulfonyl indenones via copper‐catalyzed redox‐neutral coupling reaction of indanone derivatives with sodium sulfinates. This approach provides an efficient approach to 3‐sulfonyl indenones from readily available indanone derivatives without any ligands and external oxidants.
