Abstract.At present, the seed bounce is more serious when the seed is dropped by the guiding pipe. In order to make seed drop on the soil smoothly, the mechanism of air-suction seed meter and zero speed seed injection was designed, and the process and principle of seed implantation were analyzed. The effect of operation speed (4, 6, 8km/h) on seed implantation performance was studied by taking the qualified index and variation coefficient of seed spacing as test indexes. The results showed that the qualified index under the condition of zero speed seed injection was better than that under the condition of non-zero speed seed injection under three speed levels. At 4 km/h and 6km/h, the variation coefficient of seed spacing was slightly higher under the condition of zero-speed seed injection than that under the condition of non-zero-speed seed injection, but the difference was not significant. At 8m/h, the variation coefficient of seed spacing under the condition of zero velocity seed was significantly lower than that under the condition of non-zero velocity seed.
