摘要
Mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) is an energy-saving evaporation and crystallization process for saline wastewater treatments; however, its proper application depends on many conditions. We performed evaporation experiments on 57 wastewater samples, with ten parameters generated for each sample, then performed decision tree models to determine if the samples were directly suitable for mechanical vapor recompression. Our results indicated that the decision tree analysis successfully classified our samples, and exergy analysis demonstrated MVR had great energy saving potential.
