摘要
Abstract Forkhead transcription factor (FoxO) plays key roles in the induction of various downstream genes involved in the inhibition of cellular metabolism, cell death, cell cycle, and oxidative stress responses. FoxO6 is expressed in the liver, skeletal muscle, and the hippocampus of the brain. FoxO6 also has been proposed to play a role in the promotion of insulin resistance, and inflammation. In this study, we tried to determine the neuroinflammation inhibitory response and signaling mechanism for FoxO6. In order to confirm the inhibitory function of neuroinflammation, FoxO6 knock out cell line and mice were prepared and their functions were confirmed. We have confirmed that neuroinflammation is suppressed in FoxO6 knock out cell line and mice. These findings may suggest that FoxO6 is a novel factor in the regulation of neuroinflammation.
