Comments on the letter to the editor: “Rate of unspecific bone uptake on PSMA PET is determined by the Scaffold – not the Radionuclide”

Our editorial aimed to underscore that the phenomenon of UBUs is complex and multifactorial.The broader message we hoped to convey was the importance of a nuanced approach to interpreting these findings, one that integrates all clinical information at the disposal of the reporting physician, while recognising the capabilities and limitations of various PSMA-targeting agents without undermining their utility in clinical practice.We appreciate the opportunity to engage in this dialogue and hope that our clarification further enriches the ongoing discussion on the appropriate use and interpretation of PSMA PET imaging in clinical practice.
