Superhydrophobic surfaces are distinctive due to several notable developments, and they are predicted to continue to advance for many years. This chapter will focus on the most up-to-date developments in the physical characterization of numerical modeling, experimental methods, and practical uses of superhydrophobic surfaces. Superhydrophobic coatings, which are mechanically stable, thermally inert, and chemically inert, have vast promise in every area of human life.
