摘要
LiCoO2 has been the most widely used cathode material in commercial Li-ion batteries. Nevertheless, cobalt has economic and environmental problems that leave the door open to exploit alternative cathode materials, among which, LiFeO2 with similar rock-salt structure to LiCoO2, has been paid more attention due to most abundance and non-toxicity of Fe. Recent advances in LiFeO2-based cathode materials are summarized in this paper. The preparation and the performance are reviewed, and the future LiFeO2-based promising cathode materials are also prospected.
