In this work, bacterial cellulose (BC) derived from Nata de Coco is a polysaccharide material, and it is further processed into bacterial cellulose nanocrystal (BCNC) via acid hydrolysis. Then BCNC is doped with transition metals to enhance its amine/hydrogen sulfide response.
