Nitric oxide (NO) inhalation improves pulmonary hemodynamics in participants with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Although it can reduce pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) in PAH, its impact on the dynamic mechanics of pulmonary arteries and its potential difference between control and participants with PAH remain unclear.
