摘要
In a recent study published in Advanced Functional Materials, Ma and colleagues reported a high-entropy Mn-based hexacyanoferrate of composition Nax(MnFeNiCuCo)[Fe(CN)6] for reversible sodium storage, showing improved performance over lower configurational entropy cathode counterparts. Systematic comparisons of the properties of high-, medium-, and low-entropy hexacyanoferrates helped to identify the origin of the enhanced cyclability: entropy-mediated suppression of phase transitions.
