摘要
This paper presents the study of the mechanical characterization of the Ramie, Hemp fibers and coconut shell particle reinforced with epoxy hybrid composites. The Ramie and Hemp fibers will be canned with alkali NaOH (5%) at distinct treatment times. Composite laminates were developed through the compression moulding technique with Ramie and Hemp fibre treated conditions with different Weight fraction of fibers as 30 wt% addition of coconut shell with epoxy resin and hardener. The fabricated samples are prepared as per ASTM standards. The prepared samples were further studied under different conditions to know its mechanical properties such as tensile test, impact test, flexural test and water absorption test. It is conveyed that properties of epoxy composites were improved by hybridization with Ramie and Hemp fibers. The improved mechanical properties of fiber-reinforced composites were noticed in increment of percentage composition of Hemp fibers.
