摘要
Luminescence thermometry is a unique temperature detection technology with remote and noncontact functions. Rare earth doped materials have been widely used for luminescent thermometers due to their chemical stability and non-blinking properties. With rapid development of the nanoscience and nanotechnology, rare earth doped nanoparticles (RE-doped NPs) have emerged as good candidates for luminescence thermometry by providing high spatial resolution and wide temperature detection ranges. In this report, we focus on the principles and applications of RE-doped NPs for Luminescence thermometry and present recent advances, challenges, and perspectives.
