摘要
The effect of reducing time on Cu-Ni alloy formation in a Cu electroless plated Ni/YSZ anode-supported solid oxide fuel cell was investigated. Reduction of the Cu-Ni/YSZ cell in H 2 allowed the diffusion of the Cu into the Ni and the formation of Cu-Ni alloy, as evidenced by XRF elemental analysis and characteristic diffraction peaks in XRD. The formation of Cu-Ni alloy is required to inhibit carbon formation on the surface of anode. The Cu-Ni anode prepared by electroless plating followed by 30 h reduction in H 2 exhibited significant resistance to coking at 750 o C with a CH 4 /He feed compared to anode prepared by 1 h reduction in H 2 .
