摘要
This paper proposes a principle for a rotation sensor based on magnetic properties of a liquid mixture of magnetic particles suspended in an insulating media. It is shown that the variations in the value of the coil inductance can be used to sense the rotation angle. This effect arises from the impact of magnetic field on the magnetic micro rods suspended in the liquid composite, which was used as the inductor core. Due to the inexpensive utilized material and relatively simple fabrication process, the proposed rotation sensor with 0.0185 -AV/Δθ can be a great candidate for this application.
