摘要
The application of self-healing microcapsules in the metal anticorrosive coating could repair micro-crack and mechanical damage early. The TO@CA nanocapsules (tung oil loaded in calcium alginate) used in silicone rubber coating with self-healing properties have been prepared by emulsion in situ polymerization in this paper. The dispersibility of different contents of TO@CA nanocapsules in the coating were investigated. And then the self-healing and mechanical properties of the coating changed with different contents of nanocapsules were discussed. It was shown that self-healing rate S r of 15% content nanocapsules of the coating was the largest (84.32%). While the larger content of nanocapsules, the less tensile strength. For the aim to application to engineering, the content of nanocapsules for self-healing coating should be considered according to both its self-healing and mechanical properties.
