Quality and safety in medical 3D printing

3D printing as a manufacturing technique is in the process of changing our future given its significant number of applications. Chief among them is the health care industry, including medical devices, dental implant, artificial organs to name a few. However, this amazing progress and its exciting prospects should not distract us from the fact that quality and safety should be at the center of any discussion or planning regarding the application of 3D printing in health care.
