Characterization of Urban Heat Island and outdoor thermal comfort mapping: case of Rabat

In this paper, we showcase a contextual analysis using the Local Climate Zone (LCZ) scheme. LCZ cartography is validated and the intensity of Urban Heat Island (UHI) is then established on a typical summer day in Rabat based on simulation with 3D microclimate model ENVI-met.
