Primary cutaneous Alternaria alstroemeriae infection

In this study, a 57-year-old woman presented to the Dermatology Department with rashes on her left face and ear persisting for over a month. We found that she was infected with Alternaria alstroemeriae, which to our knowledge is the first report of deep cutaneous infection in humans.
