We have already learned about the basic theory of speech recognition. In terms of concrete implementation, there are many mature packages for speech recognition available, the most closely integrated with ROS are the PocketSphinx speech recognition system and the Festival speech synthesis system. This chapter will introduce PocketSphinx in detail.
