摘要
The self-assembly method for preparing nanomaterials is very important. Four sections that include what is the self-assembly method, kinds and features of self-assembly method, various nanomaterials manufactured by self-assembly method, and nanomaterials prepared by template synthesis are discussed in this chapter. The description and discussion are concentrated on the various kinds of nanomaterials manufactured by self-assembly method. The components for nanomaterials prepared by self-assembly method include metals and alloys, semiconductors, supramolecular polymer and biological macromolecules, especially proteins. The kinds of nanomaterials prepared by self-assembly method include nanocrystal, nanowire and nanorod, single and multilayer nanofilm, nanotube, and nanostucture materials of different 3D shapes. The writing roadmap for each preparation technique is basically similar as in the above chapters.
