摘要
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a common chronic neurodegenerative disease in the central nervous system. Its pathogenesis and mechanism have not been identified. Studies indicate that an individual carrying certain genotypes of susceptibility gene has a higher risk of AD. With the completion of the Human Genome Project and the development of genome-wide association studies(GWAS), a series of susceptibility genes associated with late-onset AD (LOAD) have been discovered. In this paper, the development of susceptibility genes associated with LOAD is reviewed, so as to provide readers with current research progress and clues for future research.
