pH, Salinity and Sodicity

The pH describes the chemical condition of the soil in terms of acidity and alkalinity and is a clue to treat the soil for necessary requirement. It gives a very significant indication about the soil status. Danish biochemist S.P.L. Sorenson introduced the system of pH for expressing the acidity or alkalinity of solutions.
