摘要
Microengineered Multi-Organoid System In article number 2103495 by Jianhua Qin and co-workers, a novel microfluidic multi-organoid system derived from hiPSCs is proposed to recapitulate human liver-pancreatic islet axis under both physiological and pathological conditions. It allows to investigate the dynamic interplay between liver and islet in type 2 diabetes, providing a unique platform for the study of complex pathogenesis in metabolic diseases and the development of new therapy.
