Fluorescence and optical properties of Er and Ce doped fluorapatite (FAP) transparent ceramics

Er 3+ and Ce 3+ doped hexagonal fluorapatite transparent ceramics were fabricated and their optical and fluorescence properties were studied. In addition, their potential application as laser materials and visible lighting are discussed.
