摘要
Exposure to household air pollution from burning of dirty fuels for cooking and heating purposes is a crisis in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs). Most of the 2·4 billion people worldwide who do not have access to clean cooking fuel live in LMICs.1 The absence of clean cooking and heating fuel is not only a threat to public health, but also a major hindrance to achieving sustainable development goal (SDG) 7 set by the United Nations in 2015, which focuses on access to affordable and clean energy by 2030.
