摘要
This article presents a novel reconfigurable antenna with liquid metal switching and tuning mechanisms that generate multi-circular polarization. The antenna’s ability to switch between different states allows for improved signal processing and increased signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the received signal. The mechanism of switching and tuning is achieved through the manipulation of liquid metal in microfluidic channels using voltage. The antenna achieves this through the use of liquid metal switching and tuning mechanisms that operate on two rectangular slots in the ground plane. The proposed antenna is compact, simple in design, and covers the ultrawideband (UWB) frequency range of 1.9 - 9 GHz, making it suitable for use in 5G wireless technology. With its multi-band circular polarization performance, the antenna can be adjusted to meet the specific needs of various applications.
