Synthesis of four regioisomeric Ni(ii) azacorroles via oxidative ring-expansion of prefunctionalised norcorroles

We explored the synthesis and properties of four regioisomeric Ni( ii ) azacorroles. The results revealed that the substituent at different pyrrole positions exerted different effects on the electronic structures.
