摘要
Purpose: In recent years, the pathophysiology of knee osteoarthritis (knee OA), especially in early stage of the disease, has been increasingly paid more attention. Medial meniscus extrusion (MME) has been reported as a risk factor for the development and progression of knee OA. However, whether MME is associated with the onset or progression of symptoms has not been elucidated. The aim of this study was to examine whether MME was a risk factor for progression of clinical symptoms after 6 years in middle-aged populations with Kellgren-Lawrence (K/L) classification grade 0.
