Visible light-induced phosphine-catalyzed perfluoroalkylation of indoles

A photo-induced, catalytic PPh 3 -promoted perfluoroalkylation reaction of indole molecules is developed to give perfluoroalkylated products in moderate to excellent yields, of which 13 F-containing indoles exhibited good antibacterial activities.
