High performance of broad excitation and narrow emission green phosphor NaAl11O17:Eu2+, Mn2+for backlight displays

A high performance narrow-band green-emitting phosphor with a broad excitation band ranging from 250 to 470 nm was obtained by the introduction of Eu 2+ in NaAl 11 O 17 :Mn 2+ , which is a promising candidate in backlight displays.
