Digitalization is a complex and multifaceted process that requires a lot of time and resources for the effective implementation of the latest technologies in various areas of the organization's functioning with the final transformation of the final product. It should be noted that this approach not only takes into account the need to follow digital transformations in terms of acquiring new equipment and software, but the company's ability to change taking into account the requirements of the current stage of economic development, taking into account the sphere of corporate culture, as well as correct management and external communications. The authors refer to measures to implement the digital experience of the state and complement their proposals that are relevant for small organizations. The process of introducing digital accounting and international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is of interest to all companies, both small and large organizations. The authors analyze the transition of the Russian system to IFRS standards related to digitalization and abandonment of the usual forms of accounting standards and regulations (PBU), as well as the transition to fundamentally new ones - FSBU as a way to change the foundations of accounting in Russian practice, taking into account the requirements of the current stage of development economy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of the transition of the Russian accounting system to the new FSBU standards, taking into account the requirements of IFRS and their applicability for small businesses.
