摘要
A novel core-shell hollow-structured HMPB-Mn (HMPBs = hollow mesoporous Prussian blue nanoparticles) as an intelligent theranostic nanoagent, is successfully constructed by H. Chen, J. Shi, and co-workers as described on page 6382. This is achieved by coating a similarly crystal-structured Mn-containing Prussian blue analogue onto hollow-structured mesoporous Prussian blue nanoparticles. These can be used as pH-responsive T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents (CAs) with ultrahigh longitudinal relaxivity, and achieve the real-time monitoring of drug release.
