摘要
The surface groups obtained on carbon materials in the process of their synthesis or oxidation or by adsorption were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. It is shown that in acidic solutions where protonation proceeds rapidly, the observed redox processes are related to quinoid-group reactions. In alkaline solutions formation of an anion-radical is possible; however, one must be cautious in speaking of the conversion of oxides on the carbon surface as of a quinone-hydroquinone transfer.
