Advance of Rubescensin on Anti-tumors

Rubescensin is a considerable research value of medicinal plants. The effective active ingredient including oridonin and ponicidin has a variety of pharmacological effects,especially its anti-tumor activity. In this paper,its chemical composition,pharma-cological effects and molecular mechanisms of anti-tumor studies are reviewed. The medicinal value of rubescensin worthy of further study,development and utilization.
