摘要
Error in writing the standard language of Indonesian sentences often occur. Many people do not understand the standard writing of Indonesian. Errors certainly reduce the quality of the text and its meaning. There are several programs that are used to check Indonesian but only check spelling of each word. To complete this research, the author refers to one of the theses written by Daniel Naber entitled "A Rule-Based Style and Grammar Checker". By using the natural language processing approach and the rule-based grammar checking method, checking Indonesian sentences can be done more deeply. Not only spelling, but checking sentence patterns and punctuation can also be done. This method uses a set of rules to check Indonesian text. The set of rules contains sentence patterns that are in accordance with the standard grammar of Indonesian language. The results of experiments using the rule-based grammar method with test data of 20 and 32 rules produces precision and recall scores 85.09% and of 84.13% respectively. The implementation of this research is accessible through github with project name idgrammar (github[dot]com[slash]alfism1[slash]idgrammar).
