摘要
Single-crystal measurements of the magnetic susceptibilities of VI2 show an anomaly at a critical temperature of about 14 K. Neutron diffraction data show that this anomaly can be ascribed to a magnetic phase transition from a 120° structure to a collinear arrangement of the spins with a magnetic unit cell amagn = aρ3, bmagn = 2a and cmagn = 2c.
