摘要
The recently discovered Ba2FeS3 consists of one-dimensional tetrahedral FeS4 chain and exhibits an anti-magnetic ground state, which provides a chance to investigate new iron-based superconductors. Here, we report the pressure dependence of transport properties on Ba2FeS3 with pressure up to 45 GPa. It is found that as the pressure (P) increases, the resistance rapidly decreases below 20 GPa, and a hump occurs around 114 K on the resistance curve at P ∼ 28.8 GPa, indicating an insulator-metal transition. However, with further increasing pressure, no complete metallic state is observed, but the resistance and energy gap are suddenly enhanced at 36.3 GPa, which may result from a possible phase transition.
