摘要
We report here on the latest progress in the use of halide perovskites in solar cells and photocatalysis. This family of compounds has expanded in terms of chemical composition, crystal structure types and optoelectronic properties. The power conversion efficiency of the perovskite solar cells currently exceeds values of 25%. However, the interest has largely shifted towards improving the stability of the materials under ambient conditions. At the same time, the photocatalytic efficiency of the halide perovskites is also investigated, revealing new applications such as CO2 reduction, H2 evolution and organic synthesis and pollutants photodecomposition. The best materials, such as doped-CH(NH2)2PbI3 and CsPbBr3, and engineering methods for both solar cells and photocatalysis have led to devices closer to commercial use than ever before.
