Electrosynthesis of nitriles from primary alcohols and ammonia on Ni catalysts

Electrosynthesis of nitriles from primary alcohols and ammonia was achieved using a simple Ni catalyst, with the highest benzonitrile faradaic efficiency being 62.9% and yields of up to 61.1%.
