Fused diethynylbenzenes and phenanthrenes via arynes with alkynylsilanes

The concept of organosilicon in organic synthesis is applied to the hydroalkynylation and base promoted intramolecular cyclization reactions of hexadehydro-Diels–Alder-derived benzynes.
