摘要
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder, with dysbiosis and loss of Cutibacterium acnes commonly observed in affected skin. This study analyzed the microbiome of lesional, perilesional, and healthy skin samples, finding significant differences, including increased Mycoplasma and Bacillus in lesional skin. The reduction of Cutibacterium variants D1 and H1 in HS-affected skin highlights their potential as therapeutic targets, suggesting a strategy of topical replacement therapy.
