In this issue of Chem, Bao et al. present preclinical success with ethylenediaminetetraacetate-loaded layered double hydroxide (EDTA/LDH) nanoparticles, which are capable of stimulating antitumoral immune reactions and promoting the infiltration of immune cells into solid tumors by inducing calcium deprivation.
